Words can scarce express the gratitude I feel
Words can scarce express – the fear is gone.
Love could scarce contain extremities of pain
Silence was the only choice remain
The weeping of the soul, the rage of lost control
A passage in the mind – unlighted path…
My flailing arms grasp out for beauty
Spirit soul and body being one
And then…
The tears turn into laughter, irreverence in love

DESIRE
The yearning inside me for beauty inside me
your beauty your manhood your love
brings trembling, arching back, pointing toes
and peace…inside and out, in my mind’s eye
in my body’s memory, in the imprint of my soul
and the branding of my psyche
if you desire me, if your yearning reaches
as mine does for stars and skies and galaxies
if you desire me, my warmth for yours and with yours
and by yours, and yours in mine
if you desire me in that peaceful ecstasy
where you are you and I am me
then beauty is as beauty does and mine is yours
my darling, in mirrors that blend
and see unity not difference, see congruity
not anxiety, see love in windows of souls forever
ONE SUNDAY OF FORGIVENESS
Today my heart was heavy
as I read of all your frolics
and wondered if we’d ever
change from melancholics
we touched the depths of loneliness
and courage found to speak it
we wept the tears of emptiness
we climbed the mountain peaks
of cacophany and beauty,
of ecstasy, debauchery,
of rage and blasphemy
tsunami of tyranny on tyranny
Today an ancient preacher
of Ulster and the Crown
apologised to catholics
I counted myself one
He wept as he repented
of treaties long ago
signed in blood of grandads
‘gainst a Truth they did not know
He asked for ‘our’ forgiveness
even then my heart was slow
to lay down heritage of hatred
for those men I did not know
Yet Paisley was a preacher man
I was raised to hate
and admiration could not hide in me
as he laid down at the gate
The gate of freedom
new beginnings, His God and mine
He spoke…and warned him never more
To tell us No.
Don’t tell me no, my lover

CANCEL EVERYTHING…..
I will cancel everything I will wait like a tiger ready to spring to your side whenever you want me….
