THE CURIOUS TALE OF A FUND RAISER FOR AFRICA!… The Kenya Project Diaries part 1

This is part one and the epilogue after reviewing almost seven years of archived cocrrespondence (thanks to facebook!) between myself and the Head of the School and Orphanage in Kenya which myself and the town took to our hearts and supported….
As the archives are in im message form and span September 2009 to May 2016 it is not possible to post in one note due to a maximum links technicality….I am working on another format to post, rather than creating four or five notes, but in the meantime post some salient facts and figures checked, double checked with committee and verified, after a rather unpleasant smear campaign which left us discouraged and wounded after MUCH hard work on a totally voluntary basis. I have explained to those who ask that the smear campaign has NOTHING to do with the good work done in the town and EVERYTHING to do with my work in the field of exposing and ending CHILD ABUSE. My apologies to all who helped who may have been distraught with the online campaign and its fallout.
ALL will unfold and I am grateful committee members supported me with record keeping, and facebook archives proved so helpful!
This review of all my interactions with David Chesoli Head of a small school and orphanage in Kenya which I have supported financially after taking up first hand references in September 2009 has taken a VAST amount of voluntary time. I usually ignore malicious slander pursuant to my work in exposing child abuse and corruption in the UK, US and Ireland. However, the smear campaign has been so malicious and defamatory, I felt I had no choice but to allocate precious time to clear my name. My personal support for the school commenced as I say in late 2009 but broadened into a group fund raiser from December 2011 until August 2014 when the committee reached and exceeded a target set of 10,000 euro. We actually raised 10,860 of which 10% was given back into our own community mainly to the local soccer club, with a one off donation also to the St. Vincent de Paul.
Even with high bank charges, the production of a book and c.d. and permits etc, we kept expenses running around 11% which is PHENOMENAL given the amount of VOLUNTARY work put in. I defy ANY major charity to come even remotely close to that. It has been hurtful not just to myself but the other four committee members of The Kenya Project to have such hard work and dedication maligned by persons with vested interests to spread lies. I continued with personal donations to date and will detail both amounts.
Bank charges sadly were an ongoing issue, National Irish Bank then Danske Bank then Allied Irish Bank charging anything from 25 euro for one transaction to 12 euro then 15 per transaction until I finally discovered AZIMO with minimal transfer charges. Even a Danske business account purportedly offering no charges, gave a much lesser amount to the recipient thus causing us to revert to the 12 euro arrangement until Azimo.
The overview checked by two committee members, backed up with documentation, and detailed at length in facebook archives both transfers and receipt of same, is as follows, and we have always said we are happy for journalists or other genuinely interested parties to meet us and go through all accounts and records. For those GENUINELY interested in helping children less fortunate financially we would love you to visit our facebook page and go through the archives with photos and events that were fun and very challenging, as well as supporting documents for this lengthy review.
I will not spend further hours uploading bank statements, most transfers being made through my personal account, although I will post a sample few on the facebook page… as always we have been transparent and welcome bona fide journalists and interested parties to come and view accounts and paperwork all of which are in place. The archived records of transfers and receipt is comprehensively documented thanks to FACEBOOK and will be published as a book entitled THE CURIOUS TALE OF A FUND RAISER FOR AFRICA You will understand why as you read through this fascinating and bizarre journey which hopefully will explain much and inspire at least a FEW!

(Bank charges on monthly transfers during personal donation period were additional and carried by me at about 580 euro)
KENYA PROJECT DONATIONS from December 2011 to August 2014 inclusive were as follows: 2011 (December) 900.00 2012 (Jan to Dec) 2,965.00 2013 (Jan to Dec) 3,070.00 2014 (Jan to Aug) 1,475.00
TOTAL TO KENYA from PROJECT 8,410 Euro
TOTAL TO SOCCER CLUB from PROJECT 1 ,026 Euro
ONE OFF TO VINCENT de Paul from PROJECT 60 Euro
PROJECT EXPENSES 1,364 Euro
THUS THE SCHOOL AND ORPHANAGE RECEIVED IN TOTAL SINCE SEPTEMBER 2009 TO May 2016 11,925 euro.
NOT TOO SHABBY FOR THREE HOUSWIVES RAISING CHILDREN AND TWO TEENAGERS, NONE OF WHOM WERE SALARIED AND ALL OF WHOM WERE BUSY, JUST NOT TOO BUSY TO CARE!!
David had submitted accounts at 8,545 euro received from beginning of project December 2011 to May 2016…the correct figure for that should have been 10,035 euro according to our double and treble checked documented records including the below which is perhaps the most comprehensive.
I am struggling to put a discrepancy of 1,490 euro for that time period down to human error or poor transaction rates but will keep an open mind whilst waiting for David’s response and hopefully apology. I am giving him the benefit of the doubt given that he runs a church and school overseeing many orphans on a tiny budget and perhaps was not able to set DAYS aside as we have done to fully review all accounts and inter actions.
I had asked David for figures to also reflect donations since 2009 which he did not do to date, responding only to the intimidating and defamatory demands of pseudonym Karen Johnston for dates as SHE (quite possibly HE) set out. It is easy to sow doubt into someone’s mind who has been ripped off many times by supposed charities and individuals, many of whom David openly chides in the ‘book’ DIARY OF A CURIOUS FUND RAISER FOR AFRICA
Feedback and elusive apologies are always welcome. I thank again my fellow committee members of THE KENYA PROJECT for all the hard work put in and also the town of OLDCASTLE which was generous and helped with many events of which we have fond and sometimes hilarious memories.
I APOLOGISE again for the slur cast on the work, and hope these accounts and records draw an end to the online smear campaign that was so malicious and contrary to the voluntary work undertaken by so many, to help children less fortunate than most. BY THEIR FRUITS YOU SHALL KNOW THEM….to date said ‘Karen Johnston’ and her crew’s promises of support for the orphanage have been empty with not a penny being donated from the mysterious ‘THEM’
A photo album will be uploaded to the Kenya Project page with various document samples, and the body of the book being a condensed and intriguing diary between myself and the orphanage head since September 2009, will be uploaded / incorporated here as soon as it is formatted! Meanwhile I skip to the epilogue in the interests of releasing the BOTTOM LINE!
HEREIN ENDETH THE FIRST DRAFT OF (watch this space lol!)

I PRAY the epilogue is gracious It is not my desire to humiliate possibly innocent parties, only to prove the lies that were spread abroad with diabolical intent are shown to be just that…..LIES.
I PRAY also that those reading this saga will revisit the case that most generated the smear campaign in an effort to keep a lid on it
THE HAMPSTEAD COVER UP Go google 🙁
THANKS for taking the time to read this sorry and CURIOUS tale….there are many anomalies only making sense with hindsight which will be investigated and followed up in DEPTH….watch this space lol !
Mordechai and the gallows for the accuser not the accused comes to mind, metaphorically speaking of course, although the gallows for child rapists or those protecting them may need to be looked at again.
Hmmmm
